Monogrammed Towels

A quick post to show off our monogrammed beach towels!  It's that time of year for beach trips, lake days, and pool parties.  And who can resist a monogrammed beach towel (or monogrammed anything)!  Great for adults and kids.  Also great to give as gifts!

Crafty Stuff!

We are always brainstorming, getting new ideas, and being inspired!  Somtimes ideas for

STUFF comes as a new twist on an old thing, and sometimes it's a product of our inventive minds (scary!!). 

This is sort of a little of both.  I'm sure you've all seen this idea 'around', but you didn't know exactly where to get some of your own.  This is such an easy peasy fun project.  I love it when 'work' is fun :) 

Fabric covered thumbtacks ... 

Awesome gifts for a 'Thank You', house warming, college student, or just because.  These are soooooo cute.  ENDLESS possibilities with all of the fabric options.  A unique way to hold things in place at the office, great for bulletin boards, etc.  Mix-n-match, be creative!! 

Fabric covered magnets...

Available in various sizes.  Again, great for lots of occasions, or even a gift to SELF!  Imagine your fridge with these.  I know my fridge is getting a magnet makeover!  Also great for offices or classrooms.

Once Upon A Time...

There was a beautiful little girl (with a really sweet mommy ;)) and they had lots of fun playing together outside on hot summer days.  MK has actually been requesting this 'Once upon a time' story at nap/bed time :) 

While we do spend most of our time showing photos of our sewing projects, I wanted to take a moment from the hustle and bustle of work and busy schedules to share a snippet from our *pigtail weekend*.

Patch It Up!

This week's design of the week (yes, we're running a little behind!) - a modified square patch.  Shown here in great boy colors for summer, but could easily be transformed into a girlie design!    

Patches are a great way to jazz up a simple monogram.  We love the stacked monogram!    

Ideas...

~ Patch applique shirt paired with shorts (boy or girl) for the boutique look

~ Little boy tees to be worn with swim shorts

~ Unique design for baby gifts (burp cloth, onesie, layette gown, bib, etc.)
