Pretty or Play...

We’ve got something for either occasion!  Here are a few things of late:

The knot dress AKA Hannah is great for all ages!  So many pretty fabrics for this dress.  More Hannah dresses with more pretty fabrics coming soon! 

Another Sarah ruffle dress for little sister! 

Up next is the Abigail, great for pretty or play!  Pretty enough for church, or birthday parties, or beach trips, but simple enough for play.  The Abigail top criss crosses in the back and pairs perfectly with the Caroline bloomer shorts. 

Now for play.  If your kids are like ours, play time is serious and requires lots of playing outside in the dirt! 

*BARGAIN ALERT*  This ruffle skort (it’s a skirt all the way around, but has shorts built in underneath) and tank were a Wal-Mart find!  SIX dollars for the entire outfit!  We added the butterfly applique on the shirt and voila!  Great outfit for spring/summer, comfortable, cute, and might I add affordable?!  We racked up on the skort/tank combos, so be looking for more of these!    

Last but not least, knit dresses.  Empire waist, ¾ length sleeves, ruffle hem.  Simple (I use this word A LOT!) and versatile.  Wear dress only, or pair with leggings (which come with the dress!)  for those spring time cool snaps we’re prone to in South Alabama!  These are great ‘occasion’ dresses (Valentines, Easter, Patriotic, Halloween, Christmas) you name it!

Spring Has Sprung!

It’s here!  Lots of beautiful wildflowers (as well as the bothersome pollen) – SPRING!!  We love spring!   Modern Mamas has several new items available! 

Up first is the reversible A-line.  So simple (we are all about simple), and so sweet!!  We love them by themselves – or you can pair with a ruffle-y peter pan type blouse underneath.  This particular A-line has a bunny applique with 3 letter monogram on one side…

…and a super cute springy print on the other!

Next, flamingos!!  Who can resist a pink polka dotted flamingo?!  Pinafore top is fully lined and reversible.  Coordinating bloomer shorts to top it off.

The reverse fabric (pink dot) is shown on the A-line with “H” monogram.
